HOW WE STARTED
At Apex Search and Rescue, our journey began with a moment of realization and determination. As a father of six children, our founder, Patrick Johnson, understood the importance of being prepared for the unexpected. It was a day like any other when news of a lost 6-year-old in the nearby woods reached Patrick. Despite his extensive experience serving in the Marine Corps and Air Force, he found himself unequipped to respond immediately. His gear was not in order, and his ATV was miles away in Vermont. In that moment, Patrick made a solemn promise to himself and his community. He vowed that no family should experience the agony of uncertainty when a loved one goes missing. Thus, Apex Search and Rescue was born out of a deep sense of duty and compassion. Our mission is simple yet profound: to assist local fire departments in search and rescue operations. We bring together a team of skilled professionals who are not only trained but also passionately committed to saving lives. Every member of our team shares Patrick's vision of readiness, preparedness, and swift action. Join us in our quest to ensure that no one is ever lost and alone.
